Matt is a multi-platinum selling recording artist, BRIT Award nominee and an award-winning West End actor. Over the last 18 months Matt Cardle has released his fourth studio album ‘Time To Be Alive’, graced London’s West End stage in Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Strictly Ballroom’ and completed a sold-out run in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ at London’s Barbican Theatre. Classic songs ‘When We Collide’, ‘Run For Your Life’, ‘Amazing’, ‘Loving You’ (with Spice Girl Melanie C), ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’ and ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’ have clocked up over 20 million streams on their own, alongside over 2.2 million record sales.

Matt is the resounding winner of The X Factor’s highest rating series ever in 2010. He stunned over 19.1 million viewers with his breathtaking four-octave vocal range. Matt historically won the public vote every week and had the honour of dueting with international female superstar Rihanna during the live final.

Matt’s debut single, ’When We Collide’, sold over one million copies and was recently named as one of the biggest-selling singles of the past decade. The song spent three weeks at #1 and was nominated for Best British Single at the 2011 BRIT Awards. Matt has since released four studio albums; ‘Letters’ (2011), ‘The Fire’ (2012), ‘Porcelain’ (2013) and ‘Time To Be Alive’ (2018). In addition to his acclaimed output as a solo artist, Matt teamed up with Spice Girl Melanie C in 2013 for the infectious duet ‘Loving You’ as well as performing to over two billion at Miss World in Bali. He has spent the last three summers performing as guest vocalist with The Trevor Horn Band and was honoured to be asked to record a new orchestral version of ‘The Power Of Love’ for Trevor’s recent ‘Reimagines The Eighties’ album.

In 2015 Matt joined the cast of Memphis (Shaftesbury Theatre) alongside Beverley Knight. He received the Best West End Debut Award for his show-stopping portrayal of Huey Calhoun. Matt returned to the west end stage in 2018, appearing as Wally Strand in Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom (Piccadilly Theatre) and in 2019 as Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar (Barbican Theatre).

Matt is excited to bring a brand new four-piece band show to the stage in 2020. With material from Matt’s four studios albums and some breathtaking covers you can expect a set full of passion, intensity and flawless vocals.
